How to Order GSA Services:
STEP 1: Prepare a Statement of Work (SOW):
Provide information to the procurement officer in the form of a SOW. Typical
items usually included in the SOW include:
- Work to be performed
- Location of work
- Period of performance
- Deliverable Schedule
- Applicable standards
- Acceptance criteria
- Special Requirements (i.e., security clearances, travel, special
knowledge, etc.)
STEP 2: Transmit the SOW to Contractors:
Contractor responds to the services outlined in the SOW with a price estimate.
STEP 3: Evaluate Proposals and Select the Contractor to Receive
the Order:
After responses have been evaluated against the SOW, the order is placed with the schedule
contractor.
STEP: 4 Delivery Order is Awarded:
An order may now be placed.
